1. 01

   Bozeman → West Yellowstone

   • Leave Bozeman after breakfast
   • Drive to West Yellowstone
   • Check in and an easy first evening
   • Old Faithful from the benches (easy, timed)

2. 02

   Old Faithful

   • Stay local — no long drive.
   • Old Faithful eruption from the benches — check the next-window time
   • Upper Geyser Basin boardwalk to Morning Glory and Castle
   • Old Faithful Inn lobby, then an easy evening in town

   West Yellowstone — many hotels at the west gate

3. 03

   Grand Prismatic

   • Stay local — no long drive.
   • Grand Prismatic Overlook, then Midway Geyser Basin boardwalk
   • Fountain Paint Pot only if the parking and the kids cooperate
   • Don't loop the same boardwalk twice — save the legs

   West Yellowstone — many hotels at the west gate

4. 04

   West Yellowstone → Canyon Village

   • Drive West Yellowstone → Canyon Village
   • Optional Norris Geyser Basin if you leave West early
   • Artist Point for Lower Yellowstone Falls
   • Check in at Canyon Lodge

5. 05

   Hayden Valley

   • Stay local — no long drive.
   • Hayden Valley wildlife pulloffs in the morning
   • Lamar Valley only as a dedicated dawn mission — not stacked after a late night
   • Easy afternoon at Canyon Village

6. 06

   Canyon Village → Jackson

   • Drive Canyon Village → Jackson
   • Arrive at Jenny Lake before 9 AM — the lot fills in summer
   • Mormon Row barns, the Chapel of the Transfiguration, and Schwabacher Landing
   • Boat across Jenny Lake, then Hidden Falls (~1 mi) or Inspiration Point (~2 mi)

7. 07

   Jackson → Bozeman

   • Easy morning if checkout allows
   • Drive Jackson → Bozeman
   • Unpack and save the photos
